Microsoft has confirmed four new additions to the Xbox Game Pass library this week, continuing its steady cadence of day-one releases alongside back-catalog additions.

What's New

The lineup spans genres — an open-world action title, a narrative-driven indie, a remaster of a fan-favorite from the last generation, and a co-op-focused shooter. As usual, day-one titles are included at no extra cost for eligible tiers the moment they launch, rather than being added after the fact.

How Game Pass Tiers Affect What You Get

If you're newer to the service, it's worth knowing that not every tier gets every addition. Microsoft's higher subscription tier typically bundles the full console and PC library with day-one releases, cloud streaming, and extras like EA Play, while lower-cost tiers usually come with a smaller, rotating catalog and don't always include day-one access to the newest releases. Tier names and pricing have shifted more than once over the past couple of years, so it's worth a quick check in the Xbox app or on Microsoft's site if you're deciding which plan fits before signing up.

Leaving Soon

As always, check the "Leaving Soon" tab in your Game Pass app if you want to finish anything before titles rotate out — Microsoft typically gives a few weeks' notice before a game leaves the catalog, and anything you've made progress on usually carries over if you later buy it outright at a subscriber discount.
