The short version
- A fan port runs Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, the 2015 PS4 remaster of Uncharted 1, 2 and 3, natively on Windows.
- It's the work of SuperMedo, the developer behind the unofficial Bloodborne PC port. Version 0.3 went public on October 15, with a 0.4 update since.
- Features include 60 and 120 FPS modes, DLSS and FSR 4, frame generation, and keyboard and mouse controls.
- It's unofficial and still in beta. You need your own PS4 copy, and Sony hasn't commented.
Why these three games matter
Sony brought Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy to PC in 2022 as the Legacy of Thieves Collection. It never ported the first three. On PlayStation, the only modern way to play Drake's Fortune, Among Thieves and Drake's Deception is still the PS4 collection.
That gap is what fan porters have filled. And because the collection is a PS4 game, it can be ported in a way the PS3 originals couldn't.

Wait, how is this native?
The PS4 runs on an x86-64 AMD chip, the same family of processor inside a Windows PC. So the game's compiled code can run directly on your CPU, without the instruction-by-instruction translation a PS3 or Switch emulator needs. Our x86 vs Arm explainer goes into why that matters.
What the game can't use is the PS4's system software or its graphics chip. So the port replaces the PS4's system libraries with its own versions, covering memory, files, audio, saves and controllers. Graphics are the emulated part. The console's GPU commands get translated to Vulkan through a renderer taken from shadPS4, the open-source PS4 emulator.
The result sits between a full emulator and an official port. The game logic runs as-is, which is why performance is far better than a PS3 emulator could manage. The graphics layer is still a translation, which is where most of the current bugs live.
What it can do
On paper, the feature list beats plenty of official PC ports:
- 60 and 120 FPS modes, with anything above 120 marked experimental
- TAA, AMD FSR 3.1 and FSR 4, plus Nvidia DLAA
- FSR 3 frame generation, and DLSS multi-frame generation on RTX 40 and 50 series cards
- Remappable keyboard, mouse and controller support, all set from a launcher
DSOGaming's reporter says an RTX 4070 Super with a Ryzen 5 7500F ran all three games at 120 FPS at native 1440p. That's one person's setup, not an official requirement. The beta still has visual glitches, such as green or black shapes flashing for a frame on some Uncharted 3 characters.

There's a second project, too
Uncharted_Collection_PC by zorde23 works the same way. Its own notes call Uncharted 3 the most complete, Uncharted 2 playable and Uncharted 1 experimental. Two teams converging on the same game says a lot about how much demand there is.
Part of a bigger wave
Uncharted isn't alone. The same mix of a PS4 game's original code plus replacement libraries has been used on a run of PlayStation exclusives this year.

Bloodborne is the best known. SuperMedo's port of FromSoftware's 2015 game, which never got an official PC or PS5 version, is playable with DLSS and mouse and keyboard. Gran Turismo Sport has an experimental port without its online features, which matters because GT Sport's servers were switched off in January 2024. MediEvil, the 2019 remake, reportedly runs at up to 240 FPS. The Order: 1886 is earlier, at around 30 FPS. Every one of them needs your own game files.

The catch
Neither Uncharted project includes the game. You have to dump the files from a PS4 copy you own, which needs a PS4 on firmware that allows it. Our guide to whether emulation is legal covers why that dumping step is the legally shaky part, especially where copy protection is involved.
Sony hasn't responded publicly to any of these ports. It also hasn't announced PC versions of the first three Uncharted games, so there's no official option for these projects to compete with. Unofficial ports can still vanish with a single takedown notice, so don't treat one as a permanent copy.
If you own the collection on PS4 and want to try it, the developer's GitHub has the current build. Expect bugs, because it's still a beta. If Sony ever does announce an official port, that's the version to wait for.
